The Wisconsin Project provides affordable training, continuing education and technical assistance services to enhance the quality and cost-effectiveness of Wisconsin family planning and reproductive heath agencies.
The WI Project supports the goals and guiding principles of the WI Division of Public Health (DPH). We:

Educate, disseminate, and provide technical assistance around DPH Family Planning Program requirements & standards of practice.

Assist clinic staff to meet state goals and objectives, particularly in the areas of reducing unintended pregnancies & STI rates and creating diversity in the health care work force.
To improve reproductive health clinic quality and cost effectiveness, the WI Project will:

Integrate the needs of low-income clients and other underserved populations into training plans.

Assess the needs of participating clinics on a regular basis and adjust the training plan to suit those needs.

Stay current with emerging trends & research in the family planning and reproductive health field.

Assist clinics in adapting new technology trends.

Offer training and technical assistance to improve management systems, patient recruitment, and retention.

Collaborate with policy-makers and community-based organizations to develop educational opportunities that meet established guidelines and are culturally competent.

Create liaisons between clinical staff and leading professionals & educators in the reproductive health field.

Serve as a network to connect clinic sites.
